Build the list

Find ecommerce brands by platform, category, and app stack

Find ecommerce brands, DTC (direct-to-consumer) stores included, by what their storefronts show: platform, apps and catalog size. Each fact lands in a table column, and the owner or ecommerce lead comes last.

try

Ecommerce is one of the few segments where the evidence that qualifies a lead sits on a public page. Platform, checkout, reviews widget, subscription app, currency and shipping regions all show in a browser, so each can become a dated column.

The build runs as one table. LeadMagic's website scan lists the platform and the tools the store loads. Firecrawl reads the pages when you need catalog size, a policy page or an app widget. Blitz API adds the company behind the brand and finds the contacts last.

Example searches

Ask for it the way you'd say it

Each example is a request in plain words, with what it returns underneath.

  • Brands on a subscription app

dtc supplement brands that run a subscription app on their checkout

A yes or no formula per app turns the scan's list into filters. Apps that leave no trace on the site do not show.

  • Catalog size as a proxy

apparel brands with more than 200 products and a published wholesale page

Product count comes from crawling the collection pages, so it is a counted figure with a date, not a guessed band.

  • Who runs growth here

for each brand find the founder or whoever owns ecommerce, plus a work email

Small brands often resolve to the founder and nobody else, which the row records instead of hiding it behind a support inbox.

Plays

Three motions you can run this week

Each one is a chain of OXYGEN primitives: the same hosted objects your workspace already has, composed.

  • Platform-gap list

A list of brands missing the app category you replace, with the evidence in the row.

    1. 1Add the website scan column, then a yes or no formula for the app you replace, and filter to the brands that lack it.
    2. 2Save the qualified brands as company records in your CRM, then check the next run's domains against this table before any paid column runs.
    oxygen tables create
  • Owner-level outreach

Messages that reference the store instead of opening with a generic ecommerce line.

    1. 1A Web Research Agent column reads the product pages and returns one specific observation per brand.
    2. 2Pin your positioning page so drafts read it. Then enroll the owners in a sequence of timed emails from a mailbox warmed up to protect delivery.

  • Watch for the replatform

You reach a brand soon after its new platform shows in the scan, while it may still be choosing apps for the new store.

    1. 1Add LeadMagic's website scan as its own column and schedule a full refresh under a credit ceiling. A lookup repeated within 30 days returns the stored scan free, so space refreshes more than 30 days apart.
    2. 2Within a week of each refresh, compare each brand's new scan with the old one in its cell history. Copy the brands that changed platform into their own table, find each owner, and enroll that table.

Who you can reach

Roles you can find at ecommerce and DTC brands

Reachability is per channel. Mobile marks the roles worth a phone lookup, which asks several providers in turn and finds a number for only part of the rows.

Filters you can search on

  • Storefront platform, from the website scan
  • Checkout, review and subscription apps in the scan
  • Product count, from a crawl of the catalog
  • Category and price point, read from the catalog
  • Store currency and shipping countries
  • Analytics and marketing tags the scan finds
  • Wholesale page or marketplace listings
  • Team size band

A brand with a working storefront gives the scan the most to read. A wholesale-only business with a brochure site gives you a company and little else, and a marketplace-only brand may not show up at all. A one-person brand often comes back as just the founder.

Data sources

Data sources and CRM connections

  • LeadMagic

Scans the storefront for its platform, such as Shopify or WooCommerce, and the analytics, marketing, and chat tools it loads.

  • TheirStack

Finds brands whose job postings name a platform or app, with the dates each was first and last seen. Small brands that never post jobs are thin here.

  • Firecrawl

Crawls catalog and collection pages to count products, and extracts the pages that decide fit: shipping policy, wholesale page, about page.

  • People Data Labs

The second source for a Revenue (estimate) column, a figure or a range, tried when the first source has none.

  • Blitz API

Finds the people at each brand and is the first provider the work-email and phone lookups ask. It runs only on brands that passed the storefront filters.

Use managed credits where available, or connect a supported provider key on an eligible paid plan. Your provider bills its calls; OXYGEN adds a per-call platform fee. Signed-in CRM connections such as HubSpot have no per-call fee. Connected sending accounts reserve monthly credits. See pricing and supported integrations.

Limits

Where this stops

  • Few brands publish revenue, so every size band here is an estimate. Use a Revenue (estimate) column where a source has a figure, or build your own band from catalog, team size, and shipping footprint. Ask for the number on the call.

FAQ

Questions people ask first

Can I filter on the apps a store has installed?
Yes, for apps the website scan or a page crawl can see. A yes or no formula per app lets you filter on a missing app, which helps when you sell the missing piece.
How do you tell a real brand from a dropshipper?
Read the catalog and the policy pages. A thin catalog with boilerplate shipping text and no about page behaves nothing like a brand with named suppliers and a returns address.
Do you have revenue figures for these brands?
Only as estimates. A Revenue (estimate) column returns a figure or a range where a source has one, and few brands publish a real number. Catalog size, team size, app stack and shipping footprint can be seen, so build bands from those and show how you built them.
What if the only contact is a support inbox?
Keep it apart from named contacts: the free email_type formula labels a support or info address as a role address. Copy only rows with a named contact into the table you enroll, and reach the rest by phone or LinkedIn. Many small brands are one founder, so look for that person first.
Does this work outside the United States?
Yes for the store data: currency, language and shipping countries are on the page, so a European segment is a filter. Contacts are less certain: phone coverage is rated usable only in the US, on the vendors' claims, and work email is unrated everywhere.
How do I avoid enriching the same brand twice?
Dedupe on the cleaned-up domain before any paid column runs. One brand can sit under several storefront URLs, and each is a separate lookup.
